Advice on demarcation of areas within a total area of approximately 8,400 km2 not recommended or suitable to set up new Cement Plants due to negative impacts on Environment, Population, Water or not suitable Raw Materials.
Benchmark existing Cement Plants performances against best international performances and Standards and advice on improvements to rectify or improve.
Review Studies & Reports (submitted by Applicants for new Cement Plant approvals) provided by the relevant Approval Authority to advice on improvements necessary to meet international and not only local Standards and prepare Guidelines on information in Feasibility Studies & Environmental Impact Assessments to be included at least.
Sub-Consultant ARTELIA supports State Owned Consultancy Company for decision making of the responsible Approval Authority as Principal Client for granting/rejecting approvals on thirteen (13) new Cement Plants and to improve negative impacts of eight (8) already operational Cement Plants.
