Sole responsibility for project in all commercial, payments, contractual ,process and technical aspects
Sole responsibility in terms of save production process, costs, payments, claims and technics of a 2.274 mtpa Cement Plant Investment Project with reporting to JV Steering Committee consisting of HC Board Members, JV Partner CEO and HTC Head of Projects.
Sub-Projects included Design & Process Review, Architecture, Heavy Civil Engineering, Structural Steel manufacturing & erection, Harbor, Bridges, Electrical Sub Stations, Water Pipelines, Offices & Roads, Office Buildings, CCR/Laboratory, Landscaping, Mining and some other small value Projects.
Sub-Project to improve soil conditions within 6 month included replacement of 1.2 million m3 plastic soil with 1.8 million m3 qualified and compacted soil with proper dewatering ensured by 3 horizontal layers and 5 million meters of vertical dewatering pipes.
Parallel to GCPN Project handling of a new Greenfield project with 2 x 5,000 tpd clinker lines during Tender Phase with similar responsibilities as for GCPN Project.
Participate in completion of Pre-Feasibility - and Feasibility Study and perform Studies for Raw Materials and local Equipment Suppliers and ensure approval of Feasibility Study on State level.
Establish intercultural Project Management Team & facilitate Project Process according to Heidelberg Technology Center Guidelines with provision of knowledge transfer to local Project Team.
Coordinate between JV Partners in terms of technical issues and additionally to ensure training of local Project Management Team Members to actual needs and to take over new roles in future Operation.
Prepare, negotiate and conclude Contracts for in total 5 Contract Packages and develop Monitoring & Budget Database Software on Microsoft Platform
Coordinate and negotiate with Authorities on City, Provincial and State level grant of Construction -, Environmental - and operating permits, etc.
Participate on land purchase for Cement Plant and Quarry on behalf of JV Shareholders.
Coordinate abroad plant visits for local State Level Authority Delegations to ensure that relevant Approval Authorities fully understand Heidelberg Cement Group Philosophy about Environmental Protection for Cement Manufacturing and the introduction of Alternative Fuels.
Provision of input to HC Senior Management to further develop strategy of Heidelberg HTC and Group. Support HTC with input for preparing newly upcoming large international investment Projects
Conduct and arrange Project Management Courses within HC Group
Support HC Group entity in China concerning introduction of Technical and organizational improvements necessary within Operations Divisions.
Support HC Group with provision of information on suitable Chinese Equipment Manufacturers for provision of Equipment complying with international Standards for newly upcoming Projects within HC Group
Provide Economical and Technical expertise to COO of HC Group Asia for new investment projects of the group in China.
Investigate on potential contractors/suppliers in China respectively SE Asia for HC Group specific investment projects in Asian, African and European region
